Avarice - Avarice is a free program that allows you to download just about anything. Based on Bottler, Avarice is a fully-skinnable multi-server IRC client that allows for simplified XDCC access.

All around the world, hundreds of IRC (Internet Relay Chat) servers are awaiting your connection. These servers have thousands of channels with millions of users. Many of these channels are used to transfer files. With an IRC client, you can join one of these servers and monitor their channels for files to download. With Avarice, you can join all of the servers and have it watch the channels for you. When it finds a downloadable file, it adds it to a list.

All you have to do is click on the file you want to download from the list. It's as easy as it gets. And, unlike other file ditribution methods, like BitTorrent, Avarice gives you maximum speed right away - without using all of your upload speed.
